Newark, NJ – Congresswoman Analilia Mejia (NJ-11), a member of the Homeland Security Committee, published an op-ed accusing DHS of medical abuse stemming from the conditions inside Delaney Hall and called for the facility’s closure. She highlighted her examination of individuals with chronic health conditions not receiving the care they require, warning that these conditions and the lack of care detainees recieve could put their lives at risk.
Livingston, N.J. – Congresswoman Analilia Mejia (NJ-11) announced the 23 students from New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District appointed to the U.S. Service Academies and attending the Service Academy Preparatory Schools and Preparatory Programs.
